ONLINE DOCTOR

AskMyDoc is currently available only to Winnipeg Capital Region-Manitoba.

1. Go to www.askmydoc.ca and press “Book Your Appointment“.
2. Look for Don’t have an Account, and Click the “Sign up”.
3. Create a ‘Patient Profile’ by selecting a “New Patient” button for yourself or the patient who needs care.
4. Once the profile is created, login with Book an Appointment.
5. Book your appointment by selecting services either “Consultation or a Follow up visit”
6. Select your doctor from the drop down list or leave it unselected to be seen by any available online doctor.

7- You will receive a confirmation email with a link to join a secure video conference once clinic confirm your eligibility for a virtual care. 

When you book your appointment, you will receive an email notification, and your patient portal will show that your appointment is pending. Once the clinic confirms it, you will receive an appointment confirmation email along with an updated status in your patient portal

Please join your appointment 5 minutes early. Ensure that your device’s microphone and camera are tested and working properly before your session.

Your documents will be available in your patient portal after your doctor’s appointment. You can log in to your portal to download or view them anytime.

In certain situations, the doctor may recommend that you be seen in person. In such cases, they may advise you to book an appointment at your nearest clinic, or AskMyDoc can arrange an appointment for you at one of our affiliated clinics.

Yes, if you request a sick note during your visit, the doctor can provide and sign it. You can access it by clicking ‘View Documents’ on your patient portal.

Yes, our doctors prescribe prescriptions, however if you are in continuous care with your family physician, some condition may apply. 

Your doctor can fax your prescription to your preferred pharmacy, or it can be filled by one of our affiliated pharmacies and delivered to your doorstep—free of charge within Winnipeg city.
